Ariya Health ACN 164 519 528 (“Ariya Health”, “we” or “us”) recognises and values the protection of your personal information. We use reasonable steps to ensure that all personal information is handled sensitively and securely. Ariya Health is committed to complying with its legal obligations including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ( “Act”).
This statement outlines why we need to collect personal information, who we may share that information with, and how you may access and/or correct personal information that we keep.
Personal information we collect from you
So that we can provide goods and services to you, we may ask for personal information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and bank account or credit card details. We may not be able to supply the requested goods and services to you if you do not provide the information requested. However, under no circumstances will we request or collect any information about your religious orientation, sexual orientation, ethnic origins, or political affiliations. As a general rule we do not collect sensitive information directly from you. However, in circumstances where we require sensitive information from you for a lawful purpose, for example for the purpose of providing our services to you, we will usually seek your consent to collect it.

b) through one of our authorised distributors or health professionals;

We use your personal information to provide goods and services to you. We may also use your personal information to advise you of new products and services, and to assist you in any way in which you request assistance. Examples of our use of your personal information include:

b) processing applications or requests for our products and services, managing those products and services and other relationships and arrangements;
c) providing you with marketing communications such as emails, newsletters and alerts, surveys and invitations and offers for our products and services (you have the option to opt-out of these communications at any time);

e) to seek your feedback in relation to customer satisfaction with our products and our relationship with you;

Storage
Ariya Health takes great care to store your personal information in such a way as to protect such information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information collected from you is accurate, up to date, complete and stored in a secure environment and accessed only by our authorised personnel. We take measures to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.
Keeping records
Ariya Health will take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information that we collect and use is accurate, complete and up to date. However, should any of the personal details and information we collect from you change in any way, it is your responsibility to advise us of that change so that our records can be updated and continue to be of service to you.
Transfer of your personal information overseas
We will only transfer your personal information overseas if the transfer is to you, or to one of your authorised representatives, or with your express consent, or the transfer is necessary for the provision of contracted products or services to you. We will not send your personal information outside of Australia in any other circumstances. Gaining access to personal information
You have the right to access the personal information that we hold about you at any time, subject to certain exemptions under the Act.

If you believe that the personal information that we hold in relation to you is inaccurate, not up to date or incomplete, you may ask us to alter that personal information and we will do so unless we reasonably believe that the personal information is accurate, up to date and complete. If we do not agree to alter that personal information, we will allow you to provide a statement as to why you believe that personal information is inaccurate, not up to date or incomplete and we will keep that statement with your personal information.
Privacy complaints or disputes

Opting out rights
As part of providing goods and services to you we may at times send you marketing and promotional material. You may opt-out from receiving this material by following the instructions contained within the email or included in each communication we send to you.
We may need to change our privacy policy from time to time
Due to changing business circumstances or legislative changes, we may need to change our privacy policy from time to time. If we change our privacy policy the changes to the policy will comply with the Act and we will endeavour to ensure that your overall level of privacy protection is not diminished and we will publish those changes on our website. You are encouraged to check our website regularly to consider, and act on, any changes to our privacy policy. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy without notice to you.
